Joshua replaced my AC mini-split and did an excellent job. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The installation was done quickly and with great attention to detail, and the system has been running perfectly ever since. I really appreciate the honest service and would highly recommend Joshua and his team to anyone needing HVAC work.

Local to Kent

Why Kent calls us

Kent splits naturally into three parts that locals know well: East Hill, the Valley, and West Hill. The hillside neighborhoods like East Hill and Scenic Hill hold older ramblers and split-levels that often need heating and electrical upgrades. The Kent Valley floor is a different job entirely, one of the country's largest warehouse and distribution corridors, which drives steady demand for commercial HVAC and refrigeration. We handle both, from a furnace swap on the hill to rooftop units and walk-in coolers in the valley.

Kent splits between hillside residential areas like East Hill and Scenic Hill, which hold older ramblers and split-levels, and the Kent Valley floor, one of the country's largest warehouse and distribution corridors that drives demand for commercial HVAC and refrigeration.

Kent's hillsides didn't fill in all at once. The older ramblers and split-levels on Scenic Hill and inner East Hill mostly date to the 1960s and 1970s, while the outer East Hill and Panther Lake subdivisions came later, through the 1990s and 2000s. Down in the valley, the older homes around North Park and downtown predate most of it. That spread means a Kent street can hold a furnace on borrowed time three blocks from a house that just needs a heat pump sized correctly, and we quote each on its own merits.

The valley floor is what makes Kent different from the suburbs around it. So much of its distribution and cold-storage space is refrigerated that the city generates real cold-chain and big-volume ventilation demand most towns never see. The warehouse and distribution corridor off the West Valley Highway, including the former Boeing Space Center site, anchors the industrial side, and the retail around Kent Station and along the Pacific Highway corridor fills in the rooftop and commercial refrigeration work. Even parks like Riverbend Golf Complex and Clark Lake sit minutes from that industrial core, which is how tightly homes and warehouses press together here.

The valley traps fog and cool, damp air that the East Hill neighborhoods above it shed faster, so one week can bring a humidity and ventilation call down in the valley and a straightforward furnace job up on the hill. The West Hill and Midway area near the new Kent-Des Moines light rail station is starting to redevelop, too, which brings newer multifamily construction and the heat-pump and panel work that comes with it. We cover the whole city, hill and valley, older homes and new.

Climate
The Kent Valley floor holds damp, cool air longer than the hills above it, while hillside homes ride out the same mild, wet winters. Hotter recent summers have pushed cooling demand across both.

Questions

Common questions in Kent

Do you service the Kent Valley warehouse and distribution district?

Yes. The Kent Valley is one of the largest distribution corridors in the country, and we handle commercial HVAC, rooftop units, and refrigeration for warehouses and facilities there.

Do you work on older East Hill and Scenic Hill homes?

Yes. The hillside neighborhoods hold a lot of older ramblers and split-levels, so we diagnose the existing system carefully before recommending a repair or a replacement.
