An oversized AC short-cycles and an undersized one never catches up. We run the load math, set the charge by the numbers, and leave you a system that runs quiet and lasts.

  • New and replacement AC systems
  • American Standard and Mitsubishi equipment
  • Refrigerant charge set by the numbers
  • Up to a 12-year manufacturer warranty

Why it matters

Why ac installation is worth doing right

An air conditioner that's the wrong size is a problem you live with for fifteen years. Oversized, it short cycles, never dehumidifies, and wears out early; undersized, it runs constantly and still can't keep up on the hottest days. We run a load calculation on your actual home rather than copying the old unit's tonnage.

New systems now use R-454B, the lower-impact refrigerant replacing R-410A on equipment built from 2025 on. It calls for updated line-set and charging practices, which is part of why a proper install matters more than ever. We set the charge by the numbers and leave you a system that runs quiet and efficient.

Time for a new system?

Signs it's time for a new AC

Replacement is usually the smarter move when:

  • Your system is past 12 to 15 years old and slowing down
  • Repairs are adding up, or you're on a first-name basis with your tech
  • A major part like the compressor or coil has failed
  • Your AC still uses R-22, which is no longer produced
  • Energy bills keep climbing as the unit loses efficiency
  • Some rooms never get comfortable no matter the setting
  • You're adding cooling to a home that never had it

How it works

What to expect with ac installation

  1. 01

    Load calculation

We size the system to your home's square footage, insulation, windows, and layout, not by defaulting to the old tonnage.

  2. 02

    Recommend and quote

We lay out the right size and efficiency for your home and budget, with a clear price up front and no upsell.

  3. 03

    Install to spec

We set the equipment, handle the electrical and line-set work, and set the refrigerant charge by the numbers.

  4. 04

    Commission and test

We run the system, verify airflow and charge, and confirm it cools evenly before we leave.

Your options

Repair or replace?

When a big repair comes up, a few rules of thumb help, and we'll walk through them with you honestly:

The 50% rule

If a single repair costs more than half the price of a new system, replacement is usually the smarter money, especially once the unit is past its prime.

Age times cost

Multiply the unit's age in years by the repair cost. If the result is over 5,000, replacement generally wins; well under it, repair.

Efficiency gains

A modern high-efficiency system can noticeably cut cooling costs versus a tired older unit, which can tip a borderline call toward replacing.

Repair-or-replace decision guide: repair when the cost is under half a new system, replace when the unit's age times the repair cost runs over about $5,000
A quick way to weigh repair against replacement before you spend a dollar.

Fair, upfront pricing

What affects the cost

We quote every install after we size the system to your home. The drivers:

  • System size and efficiency (the SEER2 rating)
  • Whether existing ductwork is reused, sealed, or modified
  • Electrical, pad, and line-set work the install requires
  • Equipment brand and warranty term
  • Removal and disposal of the old system

Every job is different, so you get a clear quote before any work starts, with no surprises. Financing is available, so the right fix doesn't have to wait. We're licensed (WESTSCS752MT) and insured, and we back our work with a 1-year workmanship guarantee.

Warranty coverage

The warranty behind your new system

These are three separate kinds of coverage, and they protect different things. The manufacturer warranty covers the equipment, our workmanship guarantee covers the quality of the installation, and the optional JB Warranties plan covers labor.

Up to 12-Year Manufacturer Warranty On Mitsubishi systems we install as a Diamond Contractor: up to 12-year parts and compressor coverage on qualifying residential installs, when registered within 90 days. We handle the registration for you.
Up to 10-Year Manufacturer Warranty On American Standard units we install: up to 10-year registered parts coverage (5-year base) when registered within 60 days. Covers parts, not labor. We handle the registration so you keep the full term.
1-Year Workmanship Guarantee Our own guarantee on the quality of the install. If our work isn't right, we make it right.
Optional Extended Labor Warranty Optional 5, 10, or 12-year labor coverage available through our JB Warranties partnership, covering labor plus a refrigerant allowance, separate from the manufacturer's parts coverage. Quoted per job.
We treat every ac installation job like it's in our own home: diagnose it right, quote it fair, and stand behind the work.

Questions

Common questions about ac installation

How do you size a new AC for my home?

We run a load calculation based on your home's size, insulation, windows, and layout, then size the system to match. We never just swap in the same tonnage by default.

Do you offer financing on a new AC?

Yes. We offer financing alongside card, check, and Venmo or Zelle so a new system doesn't have to wait.

What AC brands do you install?

We install American Standard and Mitsubishi systems, and as a Mitsubishi Diamond dealer we back those installs with industry-leading coverage.

Is it worth replacing my AC instead of repairing it?

If a repair runs more than half the cost of a new system, or the unit's age times the repair cost is over about 5,000 dollars, replacement is usually the better value. We give you that math straight before you decide.

Do new air conditioners use a different refrigerant?

Yes. Systems built from 2025 on use R-454B instead of R-410A. It's a lower-impact refrigerant that needs updated install practices, which we follow, so your new system is charged and set up correctly.
